Day 01: Arrival Hanoi (D)

After a warm welcome on arrival, transfer to the hotel in Hanoi. In the late afternoon, you will take an hour Cyclo - tour viewing the charming French colonial architecture to the bustling Old Quarter and attend the performance of the unique water puppetry. Welcome dinner will be reserved at one of the best restaurant in the city. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi City Tour - Overnight train to Sapa (B, L)
Train:
This morning, you will visit famous Ho Chi Minh complex comprising his Mausoleum, former residence, the impressive house on stilts and view the One Pillar Pagoda. The One Pillar Pagoda, formally Diên Huu is a historic Buddhist temple. It is regarded alongside the Perfume Pagoda, as one of Vietnam's two most iconic temples. In the next step, you will learn more about the historical and cultural events at the peaceful Temple of Literature, known as the Vietnam’s first university since the 11th century. In the afternoon, you will visit Ethnology museum, a museum that focuses on the 54 officially recognized. Back to the city central, you continue walking around Hoan Kiem Lake and visiting Ngoc Son Temple which to be the heart of Vietnam.
In the evening, transfer to Hanoi railway station for overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 03: Lao Cai - Bac Ha Market ( only on Sunday) - Sapa (B, L)
Accommodation:
Arrival in Lao Cai railway station in the early morning. Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant then transfer to Bac Ha market. This Sunday market is attended by many ethnic groups including the colorful Floyour H’Mong, Tay and San Chi minorities. The hive of activity and colors at the market is really something to see. Lunch is severed at local restaurant then transfer to Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 04: Sapa - Ta Van Village - Ham Rong Mountain - night train to Hanoi (B, L)
Train:
Trek deeper into the mountains to Ta Van village where you can see the H.Mong, Zay, Dzao... dressed in the traditional costume that is unique to the Northern region. Witness a truly simple but traditional way of life that exists as it has done for centuries. You tour their villages and traditional houses surrounded by the unsploilt beauty of nature as well as enjoying the hill tribe hospitality before you return to the town. Continuing on, you visit Ham Rong Mountain, Orchid Garden and enjoy traditional music show.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Lao Cai railway station for overnight train to Hanoi.
Day 05: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Arrival at Hanoi railway station in the early morning. Meet our guide then transfer to a mini hotel for breakfast and shower before departure to Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong bay has more than 1.000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.
Check in to the Junk for our overnight boat cruise discovering this magnificent UNESCO World Wonder. This is a great journey among surreal islands rising from a tranquil emerald sea. The Junk adds to the experience for an overnight stay and fresh seafood meals. This is a truly memorable experience. 12:00: Check in to the Junk
13:00: Have lunch on board and then you will have a fantastic cruise on Halong bay, visit Dinh Huong, Ga Choi and Sail Island. Stop at Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titop beach.
19:00: Dinner on boat and free time. Stay overnight on the Junk.
Day 06: Halong – Hanoi (Brunch)

Continue exploring the magnificent Halong Bay, visit the fishing villiage and some of the many caves during the voyage. Breakfast (brunch) will be served on the boat. Check out boat at 11:30 then transfer back to Hanoi. One the way, stopover at Bac Ninh Province to have more knowledge of Vietnamese’s history and culture. You are welcome at Dinh Bang Village; take some minutes transfer by horse drawn carriage or ox cart to Do temple for visiting. This temple was building during the Le Dynasty and has been altered several times since. The major reconstruction took place under the reign of Le Trung Hung in the 17th century. And then you enjoy traditional music show “Quan Ho” or called Quan Ho Folk song. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 07: Hanoi departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and free at hotel until transfer to Noi Bai airport for your home flight. End of service.
